PRECIPICE 04:06
Pin pricks through cosmic tapestry Lost inside the pale blue Lost inside, my wings pinned back The damage is done, can we go back? Caught as the balance starts to shift
There is no choice something must give Stood at the edge of the precipice We’ve done too well to ignore this Awareness comes at a cost We can choose, leave skeletons in dust
Watch our cities burn, erase every step And lose all hope, or change our path
Change our path Change our path Change our path At what cost ?
Something which could have been fixed before Paying the debt of millennia We must undo centuries of damage Before we consider asking for more At what cost? We can choose, leave skeletons in dust Watch our cities burn, erase every step And lose all hope, or change our path

Are we too blind to see what is happening? We have outgrown our own shoes Our footprints mark everything We are the Holocene extinction We are out of touch How can we reconnect to what we have lost? Pale blue dot, one day desolate Is there a way to dodge our fate? I see it all on pale blue wings Total collapse of everything What can be done? What can I do? To change our path? Can we renew? I see it all through shattered glass A world unknown No longer what we call our home Ancient forests uncovered by glaciers Receding, rivers trapped in time Starlight reveals scattered reflections on ice In time the mountains wear down Continents reshape, the world anew Dark horizons and scattered light Our home an insignificant refuge In the endless night I see it all on pale blue wings Total collapse of everything I see it all through shattered glass A world unknown No longer what we call our home I rise above it all Through patched up glass I see A world reborn anew Now right in front of me We have not given up Nor have we given in We fought to fix it all We fight to fix it all All print can fade away All trace can be wiped clean Not if we choose to run We cannot choose to run And despite it all I still have hope that we can heal And that we’ll learn to treat the world To treat the world as one I see it all on pale blue wings Total collapse What can be done? What can I do? To change our path? I see it all on pale blue wings Total collapse I see it all through shattered glass A world unknown I see it all Through shattered glass I see it all A world unknown

Freedom Illusion Forgone Conclusion We are Not yet free Tied down No illusion Mirage of selflessness Illusion to blind us all Somewhere adrift in time We have found a way to destroy everything Forests are fading now Unbalanced by powers that be A heart of gold can be transmuted Back into a heart made of stone We are adrift alone Lost in ambivalence Pale blue tends to infinity How can we throw away our only chance We have set forests alight Watched them burn across the sea Our leaders feign generosity We can’t ignore this hell we helped create We must try to reject Our death sentence as wrote We must look past our greed Or find ourselves raised to the ground There is still time left Before we will lose it all We must repair the seas Or prepare for our extinction Take back everything We’ve ever done and start Start to rebuild the forests And to rebalance all of life Freedom Illusion Forgone Conclusion We are Not yet free Tied down No illusion

WITHER 03:22
Glance at printed page I shift my eyes away Remind myself of pale wings The beauty beyond When the last leaf Falls from the tree It withers away alone I take My last breath And bury everything Fall from the tree Wither away Nothing to see Fall from the tree Burying me Fading Away A drop from the sea A rock from the mountain Breaking me down And building me up again The forest once green Is now brown and desolate Let me fall so I can be reborn I can be reborn

UPROOT 03:11
Are we out of touch? Face our ignorance Born from arrogance Stare into the dark Find hope among stars Uproot past ideals And become self aware Address our impulses Keep ourselves in check There is no excuse We will be undone Are we out of touch? Face our ignorance Born from arrogance We face extinction at our own hands Our own unified suicide Born from arrogance and ignorance Time to face our extinction What if we can change? Find balance long lost Re-emerge again Sift through the seas Rebuild the promised land Found a new society Focus on the whole To keep us alive We face extinction at our own hands Our own unified suicide Born from arrogance and ignorance Blegh

KOMOREBI 01:37
Sunlight streams through leaves Branches sway Dappled sunlight chases patterns on the forest floor Shadows twist and merge before parting Iridescent beams pour through the canopy And split the shade I twist the shape in tea leaves Stretch my mind to fit the pattern into something Resembling something I once knew Perhaps if I stare long enough, try hard enough A future might coalesce, become tangible Undeniable, something from nothing I can no longer put faith in tea leaf readings The light through the trees no longer illuminates the pathway We are lost What if the glacier catches us? encases us in ice? We have lost too much But we have time to set it right

Meltwater and refracted light A stream, infinite glow Vertical sapphire, amethyst on slate Bioluminescent flickers, a dark beyond time A flicker of gold, striations of light Bright over the evergreens A shifting backdrop beyond mountains Butterfly wing beats We are disconnected from what it takes for us to breathe I breathe out with the forest Tree rings, solidified fragments of time Circles, years, decades, centuries We have changed shape, changed life And yet the lights stay the same Solar flare, hydrogen flicker Pale blue fades to black Lingering moons, a shimmer of silver Transfixed in forms scattered across ice Footprints mar a desert of snow Imprints from the passing of life Wings catch prevailing winds All of time stands still Everything is still Yet the lights keep moving Silent halo, please forgive us We know we are not beyond reproach Suspended and barely holding on A rapture is waiting for us all Lights cast a shadow Slender pillars of night Hiding in the penumbra of dreams I can see it all Patterns on the inside of eyelids The closed eyes of a dreamer Stuck outside of time I watch as we lose our grip on our future Our control is lost, the world escaping We do not have time left Soon we become ghosts wandering lost And the lights will continue to shift To us the stars appear as ghosts But what are we to stars? Everything is still And the lights keep moving Silent halo, please forgive us We know we are not beyond reproach Suspended and barely holding on A rapture is waiting for us all

Like a stone cast into a lake, we are sinking Out of touch, way beyond the ambit of the rubicon Thrown from fire, discarded in the sea Now we are blind and lost We are detached from what it means to be We exist and watch and love and learn But do we ever really learn at all? Indifferent to our suffering Turn a blind eye, trade it for another A privileged and slanted view Of a broken, reality I watch the stone descend again See tree tops aflame and the sea runs red We crawled from the sea out onto land just to Just to watch it all go up in flames, in flames Now they're all drowning in the rain, the rain Is your heart encased in stone too? Can we feel at all with it like this? As we watch our houses burn How long can we stay here on the precipice? We have the chance to trade away privilege Gain a new perspective and try to rebuild If we try at least maybe we can Shake off the illusion of fate I watched it all go up in flames, in flames Now they're all drowning in the rain, again I watched it all collapse in vain, now they are Drenched and they are drowning in their pain, their pain Like a stone cast into a lake Don’t let me down I watch the stone descend again Don’t let me drown Don't let me drown

ECLIPSE 03:40
How long has it been? We look up to the stars Find only ghosts Poison the ground we walk on Tree roots sinking deep My eyes sewn shut Please forgive me Sunlight patterns scatter I am lost Total eclipse And, when, the Sun comes up Can, we Find our way Out, from Under this, halo Into the, light? As the sun comes up and we pull off our skin Break our backs in two our spines are shattering Tear the stitches out and open up our eyes In the light of day there can be no mistake We have lost control now time to make a change Now I watch us all in fucking disarray Out of the eclipse Out of the eclipse Out of the eclipse

ABYSS 04:20
And once again I find myself lost in memory Lost in dreams, lost in life, lost in all that keeps us Alive, and stops ourselves from finding our way To move on, with the water, cascading Reflecting the flames, I feel the flames are burning Forests ablaze, nothing the same, the joy of impermanence Cheating death whilst cheating at life, I find Tears shed for lost souls, the forests alight I crawl through ashes on hands and knees, Searching for parts, a heart, a lung screaming The misfortune of dislocation Getting lost in the conflagration How many homes how many lives? Can be lost before you change your minds? We are heading towards the precipice I'll be the nudge so you can dive in And from the abyss Feel souls screaming I'll be sure to teach them your name You can say you did the right thing Words like ash burning on your tongue In despair and rage you are undone And as they wrap their hands around your throat You’ll find forgiveness is worth its weight in gold Searching for purpose in the flames, reading patterns in ashes Finding logic in shame, established bounds break down And tied at the ankles, there’s water in my lungs Trying to put out the blaze as it comes from above I find it difficult to separate what is real From imagined fate and make sense of lost souls and heal Try to cut through the visions like cataracts that are Clouding the truth and I find myself back And in this way we are already lost, doomed to die Shattered souls spread out on flame and pinned down To the earth as the ground falls away Moon aflame with crimson as the sky sets alight From on high it is possible to see The Earth start to crumble into ash at our feet And what if our souls inhabit the abyss? Are we set to suffer fate trapped in concrete? If I find hands wrapped around my throat Can I hope for a rapture to save my soul? We can try to face destruction As the ground turns to flame But there will be no escape We have lost our way Trapped, entombed in flame Burnt in a hell of our own making At what point will we ever learn?

IRIDESCENT 05:19
In descent we are lost Reflect star light and blue Pale shimmer, wing beats on Thermals of flame, and I find Myself stranded, on ice melting Through awareness, unintended accomplice Carelessness becomes systemic relapse To readdress, leave unattended, balance Before our time, yet time unending Fractals in ice, subversion of seconds Subvert expectation, grass-root change And mountains will move To focus on the whole Is to lack focus at all Recovery through neglect Which requires our collapse And nothing It is gone A moment too soon A moment too long We will never know We will never know We will never know We will never know Reflect our light As we fall in two Reflect our light as we fall in two Adrift between monoliths of time We have lost all sight Of what keeps us alive Fractal shapes in ice Reflecting our fall It is gone We are gone How long can we survive? When we poison what keeps us alive? When will we decide? That we need to do what is right?
